Value for Money for Mrs Y

We acted for Mrs Y in her divorce and financial settlement proceedings. As always, the client was fully involved in all the preparation of her case and fully advised of the law surrounding financial settlements so that she was completely aware of what the Court’s would find important in her case. Her husband instructed a well known London firm and a number of offers and counter offers were made by each side. Eventually, the case settled more or less on the advice given to her and her Barrister and the case was concluded satisfactorily. What is surprising is that her husband has spent five times more money on his legal costs than Mrs Y. This case illustrates the fact that we offer very good value for money and we are commercially minded in our negotiations and dealings with this case to ensure that any benefit to the client resulting from negotiations is not eaten up by unnecessary legal costs.

We also acted from Mr W whose previously Solicitors had been slow in giving advice to him and had not fully appraised him of the strong as well as weak aspects of his claim.
